About Stefanie Trenholme of Trenholme Pediatric Speech

Stefanie Trenholme, owner of Trenholme Pediatric Speech Therapy LLC holds a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from California State University-Northridge. She is licensed with the California Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB) as well as holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Stefanie has worked in schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private practices for nearly 15 years both in Canada and the United States. Over the past 10 years she has been providing speech therapy in the Los Angeles area. As a result, she has strong working relationships with various professionals including pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, behavioral agencies, educational therapists, occupational therapists, orthodontists, special education lawyers as well as speech pathology colleagues within the community.

Stefanie has been trained in various therapeutic programs including Hanen® It Takes Two to Talk, Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® (V/V), Floortime, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, PROMPT, PECS and various oral motor therapies including Beckman Oral Motor Therapy, as well as has knowledge in American Sign Language (ASL). She is additionally a certified provider for Interactive Metronome and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT).

Stefanie maintains her continuing education in the area of pediatric speech and language so that she can continue to offer her clients and families the highest level of care.

She has additionally been presented with the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) by ASHA's Continuing Education Board (CEB) four times in recognition of her continued professional study.
